RXSS - Rich eXchange Site Syndication
As RSS takes hold of the industry, the technology is not much more than a simple syndication as the acronym implies.  So why so much attention to a simple format?  For the same reason the browser received so much attention.  Collective usage to parse information in a digestible format.  So why stop there?

RXSS is a simple XML-based system that allows users to exchange information between sites. Using RXSS, companies can share their content in a standardized format, which can be viewed and organized through RXSS-aware software.
